Women's Tennis tops Iowa State, 4-2

Longhorns take the doubles point and add three singles wins.
AMES, Iowa – Texas (6-8, 3-2 Big 12) claimed the doubles point and added three singles wins in a 4-2 victory over Iowa State (7-10, 2-3 Big 12) Friday afternoon at Ames Racquet and Fitness Center.
Texas won the doubles point with victories at the first and third positions before sophomore Pippa Horn pushed the Longhorns' lead to 2-0 behind a 6-4, 6-0 win over Caroline Andersen at fifth singles.
Texas took a 3-1 lead behind junior Breaunna Addison's 4-6, 6-3, 6-0 win over Iowa State's Samantha Budai at first singles. The Cyclones pulled within 3-2 before Texas finished off the win by way of Neda Koprcina's three-set win at third singles over Meghan Cassens.
Texas wraps its weekend road swing on Sunday at West Virginia.
