The Maxwell: After an eight-year hiatus, the Maxwell Intercollegiate will return to Ardmore. Dornick Hills Golf and Country Club again will serve as host to the NCAA Division I golf tournament. The inaugural year of the Maxwell as in 1992 and the event ran for the next 16 years—until 2008. Scheduling issues caused the field to be reduced to six teams and the tournament subsequently dissolved. In 2016, the field is guaranteed to be twice as large.
