Culbreth named to All-Big 12 Baseball second team

Longhorns senior lefthander Ty Culbreth has paced the Texas pitching staff this season.
OKLAHOMA CITY—On Tuesday afternoon, Texas senior lefthander Ty Culbreth was named to the All-Big 12 Baseball second team, while five Longhorns picked up Honorable Mention.
Culbreth, who has been a stalwart in the Longhorns rotation this season, is tied for the league lead in wins with eight on the year and finished 5-1 in regular season conference action. The Longhorns lefty finished in the top 10 in the league in ERA (10th, 3.39), innings pitched (seventh, 79.2), strikeouts (tied for seventh, 70) and complete games (tied for third, 1).
Five Longhorns received honorable mention: Tres Barrera, Kacy Clemens, Zane Gurwitz, Travis Jones and Patrick Mathis.
