The U.S. women's team has now taken home a medal in three straight Olympics, claiming silver in London 2012 and Beijing 2008. The USA women have won three silver medals and two bronze.
Texas Volleyball Head Coach Jerritt Elliott
On watching Adams in the Olympics: It has been very emotional for me because this has been so exciting to see the way that she plays and how much she's grown up. Her game has developed significantly. So to see her be on that stage, to earn that starting spot from two very good middle blockers has been very unique for us. It says a lot about the woman that she is.
