Postmatch Quotes
Head Coach Jerritt Elliott
On the win: I thought we played at a good level. Our energy was good coming out and we got a good lead and then it was about playing steady. It was probably one of the more steady matches that we've played all season long. I thought our serve-receive improved the last two games and we're getting good swings.
Sophomore Outside Hitter Yaazie Bedart-Ghani
On her performance tonight: Chloe [Collins] has been putting up some really good balls for me, and I've been able to drive through and get good contact.
On how the team is progressing: I think we are really starting to gel throughout the preseason and we've just been coming together more and more.
On facing Miami tomorrow: I think we play a little bit later in the afternoon, so we will be able to get some rest, which is good. Then, of course, our trainers are always taking great care of us.
