Volleyball announces preseason exhibition match times

Free admission for exhibition matches against Minnesota and Rice at Gregory Gym.
AUSTIN, Texas – Texas Volleyball has announced the start times for its two preseason exhibition matches ahead of the 2026 season.
The Longhorns will host Minnesota on Monday, Aug. 10, at 1 p.m. before welcoming Rice on Friday, Aug. 14, at 6 p.m. Both matches will be played at Gregory Gym.
Admission to both exhibition matches is free, and doors will open one hour before first serve. Fans may park for free in the Speedway Garage.
Texas enters the 2026 season after advancing to the NCAA Regional Final in 2025. The Longhorns return 11 letterwinners from last season's squad, including Torrey Stafford and Cari Spears, who were both named to the 2026 AVCA Player of the Year Preseason Watch List and earned 2026 Preseason All-SEC honors.
The Longhorns open the regular season at the AVCA First Serve in Milwaukee, Wisconsin at Fiserve Forum. Texas will face Arizona State on Saturday, Aug. 22, before taking on Marquette on Monday, Aug. 24.
