Volleyball to appear on ESPN Networks nine times during 2026 regular season

Longhorns slated for five appearances on ABC and ESPN during the 2026 campaign.
AUSTIN, Texas – Texas Volleyball will appear on ESPN platforms nine times during the 2026 regular season, including five appearances on ABC or ESPN, as ESPN announced its national women's college volleyball television schedule on Wednesday.
The Longhorns' television slate features one match on ABC, four on ESPN, one on ESPN2, three on SEC Network and one on ACC Network as part of ESPN's extensive coverage of the sport.
Opening the national television schedule for the Longhorns will be a Wednesday, Sept. 2, match against USC at Gregory Gym, with first serve set for 8 p.m. CT on ESPN2 in the Big Ten/SEC Challenge.
A trip to Nashville, Tenn. follows, as Texas takes on Louisville on Sunday, Sept. 6, at 11 a.m. CT on ABC for the Sprouts Farmers Market Broadway Block Party at Bridgestone Arena. The Longhorns will then travel to SMU on Wednesday, Sept. 9, for an 8 p.m. CT matchup on ACC Network as part of the Showdown at the Net.
Texas returns home on Sunday, Sept. 13, for a highly anticipated contest against Wisconsin at Moody Center, with first serve set for 2 p.m. CT on ESPN.
The Longhorns' SEC schedule will feature five additional nationally televised contests, beginning with a road matchup at Tennessee on Friday, Sept. 25, at 6 p.m. CT on SEC Network. Texas will then travel to Kentucky on Sunday, Sept. 27, for a noon CT match on ESPN.
Texas will host Florida on Sunday, Oct. 18, at 7:30 p.m. CT on ESPN before welcoming Georgia to Gregory Gym on Wednesday, Oct. 28, at 6 p.m. CT on SEC Network. The Longhorns close their announced national television schedule against Texas A&M on Sunday, Nov. 1, at noon CT on ESPN.
Start times have been announced for 11 matches on the 2026 Texas Volleyball schedule. The season opens at the AVCA First Serve in Milwaukee, with Texas facing Arizona State on Saturday, Aug. 22, and Marquette on Monday, Aug. 24. Both matches are scheduled for 6 p.m. CT, with broadcast information to be announced at a later date.
