Bromberg wins platform title at UT Diving Invite

Texas junior Murphy Bromberg dominates Saturday’s platform competition as the Longhorns sweep the Invite.
AUSTIN, Texas – Texas redshirt junior Murphy Bromberg owned Saturday women's platform competition and cruised to victory in the final session of the UT Diving Invite.
Bromberg, a World Championships participant for Team USA, led the six-woman final from the outset and was victorious with 356.05 points. She outdistanced her nearest competitor, Morgan Mellow of BYU, by nearly 140 points.
Bromberg maxed out with 90.75 points on her third dive, a back somersault in the tuck position from 10 meters.
Bromberg's win seals a Longhorns sweep of the women's diving events at the UT Diving Invite. Junior Meghan O'Brien claimed the three-meter crown on Thursday and added the one-meter title on Friday.
