Windle, Campbell post top-six finishes at USA Diving Winter Nationals

UT freshman Jordan Windle places third, awaits platform final on Sunday.
GREENSBORO, N.C. – Texas freshman Jordan Windle and UT sophomore Grayson Campbell notched top-six finishes in the men's three-meter final Saturday at the 2017 USA Diving Winter National Championships.
Windle finished with 1,201.05 points through the preliminary, semifinal and final rounds of competition for third place in the 13-man final. Windle, a Cambodian-born two-time World Championships qualifier for the United States, maxed out with 79.90 points on his fifth dive of the final, a two-and-a-half somersault with two twists. He competes in the men's platform final on Sunday.
Campbell, an All-American on three-meter last season as a freshman, totaled 1,083.95 points for sixth place overall.
The Texas tandem qualified for Saturday's three-meter final by way of their preliminary and semifinal round performances on Thursday.
