No. 18 Women’s Golf preview: NCAA Championship

The Longhorns will play at Rich Harvest Farms in Sugar Grove, Ill., beginning on Friday, May 19.
Where: Rich Harvest Farms; Sugar Grove, Ill.
Format: Finals will consist of three days of stroke play on Friday, May 19 through Sunday, May 21 (54 holes), after which the top-15 teams and nine individuals not on an advancing team will be determined. That is followed by a final day of 18 holes of stroke play (Monday, May 22) to determine the top eight teams that will advance to match play, as well as the 72-hole individual champion. The team national champion will be determined by a match play format that will consist of quarterfinals and semifinals conducted on Tuesday, May 23 followed by the finals on Wednesday, May 24.
The 2017 finals competition schedule will be as follows:
Thursday, May 18 Practice Round
Friday, May 19 First day of stroke play competition (18 holes)
Texas Tee Time: 7:30 a.m. CT off #10
Saturday, May 20 Second day of stroke play competition (18 holes)
Texas Tee Time: 12 p.m. CT off #1
Sunday, May 21 Third day of stroke play competition (18 holes to determine the top 15 teams along with the top nine individuals not an advancing team for final round of stroke play competition)
Tee Time: first tee time is at 7:30 a.m. CT
Monday, May 22 Final round of stroke play competition to determine the top-eight teams to participate in match play competition and 72-hole champion crowned.
Tee Time: first tee time is at 11:30 a.m. CT
