Licon places seventh in 200m breaststroke at World University Games

Big 12 Athlete of the Year Will Licon completes his final event of the week in Taiwan.
TAIPEI CITY, Taiwan – Former Longhorn Will Licon placed seventh in the men's 200-meter breaststroke Wednesday night at the 29th World University Games.
Representing the United States, Licon placed seventh in the 200m breaststroke final at 2 minutes, 10.75 seconds. His Longhorn Aquatics training partner Andrew Wilson won gold for the U.S. in 2:08.45.
Licon completes his stint at the World University Games after competing in the 200m individual medley earlier in the week.
Elsewhere at the World University Games, former Longhorn Mark Anderson competed in the men's three-meter diving event. Representing the U.S., Anderson placed 19th in the preliminary round with 357.25 points.
