- The No. 6 Texas women's golf team plays host to the 45th edition of the Betsy Rawls Invitational this weekend at UT Golf Club. The highly decorated 13-team field includes four top-25 teams, including No. 1 Alabama. Play begins at 8 a.m. CT with tee times off of the No. 1 and No. 10 holes on Friday and Saturday, with an 8:30 a.m. CT shotgun start on Sunday.
- The Longhorns already this season have broken the school records for best 18-hole team score [272] and best 54-hole team score [824].
- Junior Emilee Hoffman was the September Big 12 Conference Golfer of the Month, leading the Longhorns with a stroke average of 69.50 in September with two top-15 individual finishes.
- Twenty-five of Texas' 30 individual rounds this season have come at par or better.
- Texas is coming off a second-place finish at the Schooner Fall Classic with a school-record 28-under-par 824 [272-272-280]. Impressively, 14 of Texas' 15 rounds at the Schooner Fall Classic came at par or better, while 12 of 15 rounds were under par.
- The UT lineup features two of the nation's top-25 individuals according to Golfstat. Hoffman is ranked No. 21 and sophomore Kaitlyn Papp is ranked No. 25.
- The incoming 2018 freshman class of Hailee Cooper and Sára Kousková was ranked as the nation's No. 3 recruiting class by Golfweek. Both Cooper and Kousková are in the lineup for the third consecutive tournament.
- The Longhorns have won the team title at the Betsy Rawls Invitational on eight occasions in the event's history - 1974, 1975, 1988, 1989, 1993, 1999, 2011 and 2017.
- Texas individuals have taken home individual medalist honors at the Betsy Rawls Invitational nine times, including Sophia Schubert in 2017.
