No. 4 Volleyball’s White reaches 1,000 career kills

Junior Micaya White had 19 kills in Texas’ win over TCU on Wednesday to reach 1,001 career kills.
AUSTIN, Texas – No. 4 Texas Volleyball junior Micaya White has joined elite Longhorn ranks by reaching the 1,000+ kill mark on Wednesday night.
White posted 19 kills in UT's win over TCU to give her 1,001 career kills.
She joins a long list of Longhorns, including Paulina Prieto Cerame (2014-16), Haley Eckerman (2011-14), and Bailey Webster (2010-13) in recent seasons.
White has 168 kills during the 2018 season (3.65/set), hitting .305. She is averaging 3.72 kills/set for her career, which is the eighth-best mark in Texas Volleyball history.
