-Texas finished week three of Big 12 play with a 5-0 record after defeating TCU in Fort Worth, 3-2 (25-23, 25-22, 20-25, 18-25, 15-12) and Iowa State at home, 3-0 (25-21, 25-22, 25-21). Freshman Logan Eggleston led the Longhorns in kills during the week with 29 (3.62/set) at a .224 clip, while sophomore Ashley Shook had 86 assists (10.7/set). Freshman Sydney Petersen led in digs with 33 (4.12/set) and service aces with 5 (0.62/set) and freshman Brionne Butler led in blocks with 7 (0.88/set).
-Through five conference matches, junior Micaya White leads the Longhorns in kills with 73 (3.84/set), hitting .353. Shook has 205 total assists (10.7/set), Petersen has 72 digs (3.79/set) and six service aces (0.32/set), and Butler has 25 blocks (1.32/set). The Longhorns are hitting a conference-leading .300 mark and holding their opponents to .210.
-Texas has started the Big 12 Conference with a 5-0 record for six-straight years (since 2011).
-The Longhorns have not lost a Big 12 match since November 12, 2016 (at Iowa State). That gives them a streak of 24-straight wins.
-Texas has lost six Big 12 matches since 2011 for a 111-6 record (94.9 winning percentage). Three of the six losses were to teams ranked in the top-25.
