Claire Adams took the 100 free and UT set a school record in the 400 free relay
AUSTIN, Texas – The No. 1 University of Texas Women's Swimming team earned a win in the 100 freestyle by Claire Adams and set a new pool and program record in the 400 freestyle relay on Saturday night of the 2018 Texas Hall of Fame Swimming Invitational.

400 free relay – Claire Adams, Grace Ariola, Julia Cook, Anelise Diener (3:09.56)
Meet Notes
- Claire Adams, Grace Ariola, Julia Cook and Anelise Diener set a new program and Texas Swimming Center record by nearly two seconds with a time of 3:09.56 in the 400 free relay. The Longhorns also repeated in the event after earning a first-place finish at the 2017 Texas Hall of Fame Swimming Invite.
- Claire Adams set the seventh-fastest time in the NCAA this year in the 100 free.
- UT took four of the top five spots in the finals of the 100 freestyle.
- Texas took an impressive nine event wins throughout the week which was the most of any squad. Southern California and Wisconsin tied with four apiece.
