Texas Men’s Golf 2018 signee Cole Hammer won his first major amateur event in a three-way playoff.
AUSTIN, Texas – Texas Men's Golf 2018 signee Cole Hammer won the Azalea Invitational on Sunday at the Country Club of Charleston.
Hammer finished with an 11-under 273 after firing a third-round 70 for his first major amateur win, doing so in a playoff.
He had five top-12 finishes in five amateur events in 2017, including a tie for second at last year's Azalea Invitational.
