Campbell places 10th in 3-meter mixed synchro at FINA Diving World Cup

Sophomore All-American pairs with Maria Coburn to help Team USA qualify for the 2019 FINA World Championships.
WUHAN, China – University of Texas sophomore Grayson Campbell recorded a 10th-place finish in the three-meter mixed synchro competition at the 2018 FINA Diving World Cup on Saturday. Campbell and his synchro partner, Maria Coburn from Longhorn Aquatics, totaled 283.32 points during Saturday's event.
With their top-12 finish at the World Cup, the duo qualified Team USA for the 2019 FINA World Championships in Gwangju, Korea. Team USA will select next summer's team in May 2019.
UT redshirt junior Murphy Bromberg will compete on Sunday, June 10 in the women's three-meter synchro event. The FINA Diving World Cup is comprised of close to 300 divers from 30 different countries. The field competes in eight events from June 4-10.
