NOTES
-Texas is coming off of its 12th-straight Regional Final appearance where the Longhorns fell to Stanford in Palo Alto. Texas welcomes six freshmen after losing Chiaka Ogbogu, Cat McCoy, Ebony Nwanebu, Natalie Gilbert, and Lexi Sun.
-Texas' freshmen class includes the nation's No. 2 recruit Asjia O'Neal, liberos Sydney Petersen and Jhenna Gabriel, Tennessean Player of the Year Logan Eggleston, and Croatian National Team member Katarina Luketic.
-Texas will face five opponents in the top-18 in six matches in the non-conferencec portion of the 2018 season, including four teams in the top-10
-The Longhorns return two All-Americans in Micaya White and Ashley Shook in addition to two seniors in Yaazie Bedart-Ghani and Morgan Johnson
-Texas earned a No. 3 preseason ranking to extend its streak of 13-straight years appearing in the preseason top-4.
-UT was picked to win the Big 12 Conference for the eighth-straight year and 11th year since its inception in 1994.
-Junior Micaya White was named Preseason Big 12 Player of the Year, while freshman Logan Eggleston was named Preseason Big 12 Freshman of the Year. Seniors Yaazie Bedart-Ghani and Morgan Johnson joined White on the Preseason All-Big 12 Team.
