- The No. 2 Texas women's golf team plays host to the 46th Betsy Rawls Invitational this Saturday and Sunday at the UT Golf Club. Play begins at 8:30 a.m. CT each day. The teams will play 36 holes on Saturday and 18 holes on Sunday.
- The Longhorns are coming off a victory at the Schooner Fall Classic on Sept. 29. It marked the 11th tournament win for the Longhorns under the direction of head coach Ryan Murphy.
- Texas is the highest ranked squad in the 15-team field of the Betsy Rawls Invitational, which also includes No. 5 Kent State and No. 23 Oklahoma State.
- The Longhorns are 23-2 [.920] against their opponents this season, including a 10-2 mark against foes ranked in the top-25 at the time of competition.
- Junior Kaitlyn Papp is one of two golfers nationally who has been selected to represent the United States in the Spirit International Amateur Championship Nov. 7-9 at Trinity, Texas.
- Papp was the Big 12 Golfer of the Month for September, after recording a league-best 69.50 stroke average and posting top-three individual finishes at the ANNIKA Intercollegiate and the Schooner Fall Classic.
- The Longhorns are coming off one of the most successful seasons in program history in 2018-19. Texas finished as the NCAA Championship stroke-play medalist and advanced to the quarterfinals in match play.
- Texas has won three consecutive Big 12 Championships entering the 2018-19 season and the Longhorns captured the 2019 championship by a conference-record 37 strokes.
- The Longhorns return each of the five golfers in their postseason lineup from a year ago, which includes four top-10 finishers at the NCAA Championship and three WGCA First-Team All-Americans. Texas also welcomes freshman Sophie Guo to the Longhorns' roster.
