No. 4 Volleyball sweeps No.1 Baylor

Texas remains undefeated in Big 12 after handing No. 1 Baylor first loss of the season.
AUSTIN, Texas - The No. 4 Texas volleyball team took down the No. 1 and undefeated Baylor Bears, 3-0; 25-19, 25-10, 25-19 on Wednesday night in a boisterous, sold-out Gregory Gym.
It was a block party on Wednesday night as the Longhorns tallied 12.0 as a team. Sophomore Brionne Butler led the team with eight, freshman Skylar Fields added five, Asjia O'Neal and Logan Eggleston both tallied three. Micaya White posted two and Jhenna Gabriel completed the category with one.
Butler also led the team in kills with 12, hitting .500, while White added seven kills, nine digs, and one ace.
Eggleston tied her career-high with five aces and posted five kills, and seven digs, while Fields added five kills. On her birthday, O'Neal posted five kills and three digs.
Gabriel led the team with 29 assists, adding five digs, leading the offense to a .342 hitting percentage.
Sophomore Sydney Petersen posted six digs, two aces, and two assists, while senior Claire Hahn added one ace and one dig.
Texas will return to action on Saturday, Oct. 26 to take on Kansas in Lawrence, Kansas at 1 p.m.
