No. 4 Volleyball sweeps Kansas State

Texas takes down K-State, 32-30, 25-17, 25-18, in Big 12 play.
MANHATTAN, Kan. – The No. 4 Texas Longhorns swept Kansas State, 32-30, 25-17, 25-18, in Big 12 action on Wednesday night in Ahearn Field House. Sophomore Logan Eggleston picked up her third double-double of the season with 11 kills and 11 digs. She also added two aces, one block and one assist.
Freshman Skylar Fields finished with 10 kills and four blocks, while senior Micaya White added eight kills and a match- and season-high 18 digs. In just two sets, Brionne Butler tallied six kills on six attempts, while adding six blocks to her stat line.
Libero Sydney Petersen tacked on 16 digs, while Claire Hahn was the fourth Longhorn with double-figure digs with 10. Sophomore Jhenna Gabriel added 35 assists, eight digs, a kill, a block and an ace.
Texas returns to action on Saturday evening at 5 p.m. CT at Gregory Gym against Oklahoma. The match is already sold out, but two hundred (200) seats are being held for student Big Ticket purchasers, available on a first come, first served basis. Any tickets not allocated to students, based on attendance on game day, will be sold as general admission tickets at the door, pending availability. Otherwise, the best place to purchase tickets at this point are from Stub Hub, from season ticket holders who are unable to attend the match.
