Kouskova garnered the honor for her third consecutive season.
Sophomore Texas women's golfer Sara Kouskova has been named the Czech Ladies Amateur Golfer of the Year, it was announced. It marked the third consecutive year she has garnered the honor, which is determined by a poll of golf officials and media experts.
Kouskova is the 53rd-ranked player in the World Amateur Golf Rankings and the top-ranked amateur in the Czech Republic.
This summer, she was the runner-up at the Czech International Junior U18 & 21 Championship and placed sixth at the Czech International Amateur Championship. She was 11th at the Amundi Czech Ladies Challenge as part of the LET Access Tour series and was 37th at the European Ladies' Amateur Championship.
In her sophomore campaign for the Longhorns, Kouskova is third on her team with a stroke average of 71.00. She competed in all four tournaments and 12 rounds in the fall, with a season-best third-place finish at the White Sands Invitational. Seven of her rounds came at par or better and she posted two top-10 individual showings.
