NOTES
- No. 15 Texas looks to avenge a loss to Kansas State earlier in the season when it plays host to the Wildcats on Sunday at the Frank Erwin Center. It is the annual Shoot for a Cure game and tip-off is slated for 4 p.m. CT. The game will be televised by the Fox Sports Networks.
- The Series: Texas and Kansas State meet for the 38th time in the history of the two programs. The Longhorns lead the all-time series between the two teams 22-15. Texas has won eight of the last 10 meetings in the series. The Wildcats claimed a 87-69 win in Manhattan on Jan. 16, 2019. Texas holds a 13-3 edge in the series when the game is played in Austin.
- 20-Win Seasons: With its victory against Oklahoma State on Tuesday night, the Longhorns earned their 20th win of the season. It marks the 36th time in the 45-year history of the program that Texas has reached the 20-win plateau. The Longhorns have now recorded their sixth consecutive 20-win season, which marks the first time that has occurred since the six-year period between the 1999-00 season and the 2004-05 campaign.
- On The Boards: Texas ranks fourth nationally in rebound margin at +11.4. The Longhorns rank third in the Big 12 Conference with 1,059 total boards on the season and Texas is averaging 42.4 rebounds per game, which ranks 29th nationally. The Longhorns have held or tied for the rebounding advantage in 22 of 25 games this season and 111 of the last 130 games overall.
- Sug[ar] and Spice: Junior Sug Sutton, in her first season as her team's starting point guard, is one of the nation's top all-around floor leaders. Sutton, who has played in 93 career games, ranks 12th nationally in total assists with 141. She is also 21st in the nation in assists per game at 5.6. She is filling up the stat sheet with 12.9 points per game, 5.3 rebounds per game, a 1.7 assist-to-turnover ratio and a field-goal percentage of 49.6. In league action only, she is the Big 12's only player to rank in the top-10 in the conference in points per game [15.1], assists per game [5.4] and field-goal percentage [53.6].
- Up Next: Texas returns to action on Saturday when it plays host to Texas Tech. Tip-off in the Frank Erwin Center is slated for 11 a.m. CT and the game will be nationally televised by LHN.
