NOTES
- No. 21 Texas and No. 19 Iowa State meet on Sunday in the semifinal round of the Big 12 Conference Tournament. Tip-off at Chesapeake Energy Arena is slated for 4:30 p.m. CT and the game will be nationally televised by FS1. The Longhorns will be looking to advance to the championship final for the fourth time in the last five years.
- In The Big 12 Championship: Texas holds an all-time record of 28-21 in the Big 12 Conference Tournament. The Longhorns have made six appearances in the championship final, which ties for the second-most championship final appearances in the tournament's history.
- Big 12 Awards: Three Texas players earned spots on the All-Big 12 Conference Teams. Junior point guard Sug Sutton was named First-Team All-Big 12, while junior forward Joyner Holmes and senior guard Danni Williams were named Honorable Mention All-Big 12 selections.
- The Series: Texas and Iowa State meet for the 38th time in the history of the two programs with the Cyclones leading the series 19-18. Texas has won seven of the last nine meetings between the two squads, but the Longhorns and Cyclones split the regular-season series in 2018-19. The two teams have met five previous times in a Big 12 Tournament game with ISU leading 3-2.
- 20-Win Seasons: Texas has reached the 20-win milestone for the 36th time in the 45-year history of the program. The Longhorns have won at least 22 games for the sixth consecutive season, a span in which Texas is averaging 25.5 wins per season.
- Sutton Reaches Milestone: Junior Sug Sutton, in her first season as her team's starting point guard, will play her 100th career game for the Longhorns on Sunday. Sutton had an impressive line in the team's 66-64 win against TCU on Saturday. She finished with 15 points, nine rebounds, five assists and two steals in 37 minutes. Sutton's critical steal with 59 seconds remaining in the game helped lift the Longhorns to the hard-fought victory against the Horned Frogs.
