Volleyball defeats North Texas in spring match

Three Longhorns finished with double-digit kills.
AUSTIN, Texas – Texas Volleyball defeated North Texas, 4-1 (25-19, 25-18, 25-19, 25-18, 13-15) in a spring match at Gregory Gym on Tuesday night.
Sophomore Logan Eggleston led the Longhorns with 18 kills (.250), seven digs, and three aces. Senior Micaya White added 17 kills (.341) and 14 digs, and sophomore Brionne Butler posted 12 kills (.500) and four blocks.
Freshman Asjia O'Neal also finished with four blocks to go along with five kills, seven digs, and three aces.
Senior Riley Fisbeck posted a team-high 19 assists, while junior Ashley Shook had 18, and sophomore Jhenna Gabriel had 11.
White's 14 digs was a team-high, senior Autumn Rounsaville and sophomore Sydney Petersen added 13, while senior Claire Hahn had 10.
The Longhorns will play another spring match at Gregory on Thursday, April 4 vs. Texas State at 8 p.m. CT. Admission to the match will be free of charge.
