The Longhorns defeated the Horned Frogs 66-64 in the Big 12 Quarterfinals.

OKLAHOMA CITY - Senior guard Danni Williams scored a team-high 20 points Saturday and junior point guard Sug Sutton forced a critical steal with 59 seconds remaining as No. 21 Texas held off TCU, 66-64, in the quarterfinals of the Big 12 Conference Tournament at Chesapeake Energy Arena.
The third-seeded Longhorns (23-8) will face second-seeded Iowa State (24-7) on Sunday at 4:30 p.m. CT in the semifinal round. The game will be nationally televised by FS1.
Williams was one of three Longhorns scoring in double figures on Saturday. Sutton totaled an impressive stat line of 15 points - including a 7-of-8 clip from the free-throw line - nine rebounds, five assists and two steals in 37 minutes of play. Senior center Jatarie White tallied 14 points and nine rebounds in 30 minutes.
Texas shot 44.1 percent (26-of-59) from the field int he game and made 12-of-15 free-throw attempts. The Longhorns were out-rebounded (39-36) for just the fourth time this season.
Texas, which trailed by as many as seven points in the game, was down 52-46 with 7:52 left in the fourth quarter. That's when the Longhorns went on a 7-0 run sparked by a Williams three-pointer to go in front 53-52 with 5:19 remaining.
With Texas leading 63-61, Sutton forced a steal on an inbounds pass and took the ball the length of the court for the lay-up to put the Longhorns in front by four, 65-61, with 54 ticks left on the clock.
TCU (20-10) was led by Amy Okonkwo's game-high 21 points and 16 rebounds.
