01.29.2020 | Track & Field / Cross Country
AUSTIN, Texas – The No. 4/4 Texas Track and Field program hits the road again this weekend to compete in the 2020 Razorback Invitational in Fayetteville, Arkansas. In addition to the Longhorns, this weekend's meet, which takes place on Friday and Saturday (Jan. 31-Feb. 1), features some of the nation's other top programs, such as No. 15/3 Arkansas (hosts), No. 2/6 LSU and No. 7/11 Florida, among others.
This will be UT's fourth weekend of competition this season, and third weekend with just one meet on the schedule. The Longhorns have combined to win 22 events so far this season, including four relays. Junior sprinter Micaiah Harris (Men's 200m), sophomore sprinter Julien Alfred (Women's 60m) and senior distance runner Kathryn Gillespie (Women's Mile) are all also coming off of school-record-breaking performances last weekend.
Texas' 2019-20 Indoor Track and Field roster features 10 returning All-Americans from a season ago, highlighted by seven on the men's side. Edrick Floréal's roster also features three student-athletes that earned All-America honors at the NCAA Outdoor Championships last year in Harris, Georgia Wahl and Sophia Falco.
Live results for this weekend's meet will be available throughout the event at FlashResults.com. The 2020 Razorback Invitational will also broadcast live on SEC Network+ this Saturday from 1:00-4:30 p.m. CT.
