• The Texas women's golf team returns home to play host to the 47th Betsy Rawls Invitational at UT Golf Club this Saturday and Sunday. Play begins at 8:45 a.m. CT each day with a shotgun start. The teams will play 36 holes on Saturday and 18 holes on Sunday.
• The Longhorns have won the Betsy Rawls Invitational in three consecutive seasons.
• Texas opened its 2020-21 season at the Schooner Fall Classic in Norman, Okla., Sept. 27-28.
• The Longhorns' lineup for the Betsy Rawls Invitational includes Kaitlyn Papp, Sophie Guo, Bentley Cotton, Hailee Cooper and Ashley Park. Kelly Xac will compete as an individual.
• UT finished the 2019-20 season, which was cut short due to the coronavirus pandemic, ranked No. 2 in the nation. The Longhorns won three tournaments during the fall of 2019.
• The Longhorns welcome three dynamic freshmen to their roster for 2020-21 in Bentley Cotton, Macy Fox and Ashley Park.
• Texas golfers Sophie Guo, Agathe Laisne and Kaitlyn Papp were named to the preseason watch list for The ANNIKA Award, the highest honor in collegiate golf.
• The Longhorns have won three consecutive Big 12 Conference Championships entering the 2020-21 season and Texas captured the 2019 championship by a conference-record 37 strokes.
• Two Texas golfers finished the 2019-20 season ranked in the top-six nationally, according to the Golfweek rankings. Kaitlyn Papp was ranked No. 5 and Sophie Guo was No. 6.
