- Important Big 12 Tournament implications are on the line Wednesday when the Texas women's basketball team travels to Fort Worth to take on No. 25 TCU. Tip-off at Schollmaier Arena is slated for 6:30 p.m. CT and the game will be broadcast by Fox Sports Southwest Plus.
- The Series: Texas and TCU meet for the 49th time in the history of the two programs with the Longhorns leading the all-time series 44-4. Texas has won eight of the last 10 meetings between the two teams. The Longhorns are 20-3 all-time when the game is played in Fort Worth. The Horned Frogs won a 65-63 decision against Texas earlier this season on January 3.
- Among The Best: Three Texas players have been listed among the top-10 players in the nation at their respective positions. Senior point guard Sug Sutton is on the top-10 list for the Nancy Lieberman Award, senior forward Joyner Holmes is on the top-10 list for the Katrina McClain Award and sophomore Charli Collier is on the top-10 list for the Lisa Leslie Award.
- On The Boards: Success on the boards has been a staple of Texas teams for many years. In fact the Longhorns have tied or won the rebounding battle in 137 of their last 165 games overall, including 19 of 26 games this season. The Longhorns hold a +8.0 rebounding margin, which ranks 20th nationally. Texas has reached 50 or more rebounds in six games this year.
- Sophomore Success: Sophomore center Charli Collier is one of six players in the Big 12 Conference to average a double-double with a team-high 13.2 points per game and a squad-best 10.3 rebounds per game. She has 13 double-doubles and ranks 24th nationally in rebounds per game. Collier, her team's starting center, leads her team averaging 30.3 minutes per game.
- Next Up: Texas returns to action on Saturday when it returns home to play host to Oklahoma. Tip-off in the Frank Erwin Center is slated for 7 p.m. CT and the game will be televised by LHN.
