The Longhorns prep to begin the Big 12's annual showcase by renewing their Red River Rivalry with the Sooners.

- Texas leads its "Red River Rivalry" series over Oklahoma by a total of 17-9-2, but trails the Sooners in all-time neutral-site matches at the Big 12 Championship, 1-2-0. The Longhorns topped OU in Norman in a wild, 4-3 contest back on Sept. 26. UT jumped to a 3-0 lead after 53 minutes before Oklahoma used two Megan Reilly scores and an "own goal" to tie the match at 83:01. Junior forward Sydney Nobles handed Texas the victory at 87:54 by registering her only goal of 2021.
- Texas is making its 24th all-time appearance in the annual Big 12 Soccer Championship. The Longhorns are 13-18-8 (.436) overall with two titles (2006 & 2007).
- With a 2-0 win at Kansas on Oct. 28, Texas completed the FIRST UNBEATEN BIG 12 CONFERENCE SEASON IN PROGRAM HISTORY at 6-0-3. With 21 points (2.33 points-per-match), the Longhorns finished just a single point and 0.11 points-per-match behind TCU in the race for the Big 12 Conference regular season title.
- Texas is currently riding a season-long, 12-match unbeaten run dating back to Sept. 12. During their skein, the Longhorns have outscored opponents by a total of 26-6, fired off an average of 18.2 shots-per-match and registered eight shutouts. Eight different Texas players have scored goals over that stretch led by the "Run BMG" trio of Byars (nine goals), Missimo (seven goals) and Grosso (four goals). Fifth-year senior goalkeeper Savannah Madden has posted a 0.48 GAA and an .875 save percentage while making 42 saves over 1134:26 of match action.
- Lexi Missimo now owns an impressive 12 career goals, 12 career assists and 36 career points over her first 21 collegiate matches. She became the fastest Longhorns player to reach 10 goals in program history (12 matches), breaking former Longhorns All-American Kelly Wilson's (2001) record by one match.
- The Longhorns have won 41 consecutive matches in which they scored two-or-more goals in a contest dating back to the start of the 2017 season. The last time Texas failed to win when tickling the twine on two occasions was in a 3-2 defeat at TCU back on Oct. 28, 2016.
- UT is 34-3-3 since the start of the 2018 season when scoring first in a match & is 9-0-2 in such contests in 2021.
