Track and Field holds steady in USTFCCCA Rankings

The Longhorns, coming off a pair of Big 12 titles, held at No. 11 in the men’s and No. 3 in the women’s rankings.
AUSTIN, Texas – The Texas Track and Field program held its spots in the United States Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) National Rankings, which were released on Monday. The UT women are slotted at No. 3 for the second-straight week, while the men are at No. 11 for the third consecutive poll. The Longhorns have been ranked in the top five on the women's side, and the top 15 for the men's, throughout the duration of the 2021 Indoor season to date.
This past weekend, Texas swept the Big 12 Indoor Championships, winning its fourth-straight women's title indoors and first on the men's side since 2017. With a number of record-breaking performances in Lubbock, Texas, the Longhorns boast 20 total NCAA qualifying performances (13 women/7 men).
The 2021 NCAA Indoor Championships are scheduled to be held March 11-13 in Fayetteville, Arkansas at the Randal Tyson Track Center.
