NFL DRAFT HISTORY & NOTES
• All-Time Longhorns NFL Draft Picks
• Texas has had 351 players selected in the NFL Draft following the 2021 editions, which is tied for the 12th-most in college football history.
• There have been 44 Longhorns selected in the first round. Three (Tommy Nobis, 1966; Earl Campbell, 1978; and Kenneth Sims, 1982) have been selected first overall.
• Texas set an NFL record when at least one player was taken in 76 consecutive drafts (1938-2013).
• UT holds the record for most players taken in a single draft, with 17 Longhorns being selected in 1984.
• The Longhorns have had at least three players drafted in 15 of the last 18 NFL Drafts, including five players in 2021, dating back to the 2003 edition.
• Texas' five draft picks in 2021 were the program's most since 2015 and tied for the most by a Big 12 program.
