A second-team All-Big 12 selection … played in and started all nine games … recorded 47 tackles (43 solo), two tackles for loss, broke up seven passes, intercepted one, forced one fumble and recovered one … logged two tackles and one pass breakup in the season opener versus UTEP … notched four tackles, one tackle for loss and an interception in a comeback road win over Texas Tech … totaled seven tackles, five of which were unassisted, versus TCU … racked up nine tackles (eight solo), one tackle for loss, forced a fumble and recovered one in the AT&T Red River Showdown versus Oklahoma … broke up a career-high three passes and notched two tackles in a home win versus Baylor … broke up one pass and totaled three solo tackles in a road win over No. 6 Oklahoma State … posted the same stat line the following week versus West Virginia … recorded five solo tackles versus No. 13 Iowa State … recorded a career-high 12 tackles, all solo stops, and one pass breakup on the road against Kansas State.
