Men's DMR break Clemson Facility Record

Jonathan Jones runs 8th-fastest all-time 600m time
CLEMSON, S.C. – The men's DMR team of Cole Lindhorst, Willington Wright, Yusuf Bizimana and Crayton Carrozza broke the Clemson facility record with a time of 9:37.58 on the first day of the Clemson Invite.
The Texas A-team's time ranks No. 7 among the Texas all-time top performance list. The B-team of Cruz Gomez, Matt Nortje, Yaseen Abdalla and Rodger Rivera finished second at 10:03.33.
Abdalla also ran the second-fastest time in the NCAA this season in the men's mile with a time of 4:01.39 to win the event. Alyssa Duhart finished third on the women's side with a time of 5:03.96.
Three Longhorns reached the finals of the 60m hurdles with Chanel Brissett leading the way with a fourth-place finish at 8.04. Milan Young made her Texas debut with a fifth-place finish at 8.14, while Emelia Chatfield closed in seventh-place at 8.39 seconds.
Kynnedy Flannel broke out a second-place finish in her 60m finals opener with a time of 7.26 seconds, while freshman Kevona Davis closed out the top five finishers with a time of 7.31 seconds.
Jonathan Jones was the top collegiate finisher in the men's 600m with a time of 1:15.61, ranking eighth all-time on the collegiate list. Brooke Jaworski also finished second with a personal-best time of 1:29.16.
Leo Neugebauer set a personal-best in the 60m hurdles with a time of 8.28 and followed with a fourth-place finish in the long jump with a mark of 7.70m (25-3.25). Stacy Brown Jr. finished just behind him in fifth with his mark of 7.67m (25-2.0).
The field events continued to perform with Kiana Lowery finishing sixth in the weight throw at 17.69m (58-0.50), while Marilyn Nwora set a personal-best and finished ninth at 16.78m (55-0.75). Kaeli Thompson closed the field events with a second-place finish in the pole vault with a mark of 3.66m (12-0).
The Longhorns return to the track for the final day of the Clemson Invite starting with the women's high jump, men's triple jump and men's shot put at 11 a.m. The women's 300m run is set for noon to start the track events.
