Women’s Golf finishes sixth at Windy City Classic

HIGHLAND PARK, Ill. — The University of Texas Women's Golf team finished in sixth-place at the Windy City Collegiate Classic on Tuesday.
The Longhorns improved two spots on the final day of the tournament and shot the fourth best third round score with a 1-over 289. For the tournament Texas shot 28-over par.
Southern California won the event at 3-over with a nine shot lead over runner-up South Carolina. Oregon finished in third-place at 17-over par.
Bentley Cotton shot 4-under 68 in the final round, which tied for the best third round individually. Cotton finished the tournament in third-place with an overall score of 1-under.

• Bentley Cotton made four birdies and no bogeys in the final round of the tournament.
• Sophie Guo bounced back from a second round 81 to shoot 2-under 70 in the third round.
• Bohyun Park finished tied for 39th place at 11-over par.
• Emily Odwin making her second collegiate start finished tied for 47th at 14-over par.
• Cindy Hsu finished tied for 69th in the tournament.
