No. 2 Men's Swimming and Diving defeats No. 9 Virginia, 104-75

Duperre, Foster and relays lead Texas to the dual-meet victory.
AUSTIN, Texas – No. 2 Texas Men's Swimming and Diving team easily took down No. 9 Virginia, 104-75, on Saturday at the Lee and Joe Jamail Texas Swimming Center.
The Longhorns began the day winning the 400 medley relay after Carson Foster, Caspar Corbeau, Cole Crane and Daniel Krueger swam the fastest time in the NCAA this year at 3:05.89.

David Johnston put on his own show after he swam the first sub-8:50 1000 free in the NCAA at 8:46.06. A pair of freshmen closed out the top-three finishers as Alec Enyeart finished second at 8:53.84, while Alexander Lyubavskiy finished third at 9:15.25.
Jake Foster swam a season-best time of 1:44.06 to win the 200 IM, while his brother Carson won the 200 back for his third individual event win of the weekend. He clocked in at 1:40.79, while Chris O'Connor finished fourth at 1:44.75.
Noah Duperre closed out the weekend winning the men's 1-meter with 393.98 points, barely edging out his teammate Manuel Borowski in second with 393.45 points. Duperre also won the men's 3-meter on Friday night with a score of 375.75.
Krueger added a second-place finish in the 100 free, just .04 seconds off from first with a time of 42.50.
Crane led the men in a sweep of the 200 fly with his time of 1:45.76, while Coby Carrozza finished second in 1:45.88 and Luke Hobson in third at 1:45.99.

Krueger, Peter Larson, Hobson and Corbeau ended the meet with a winning-time of 1:18.97 in the 200 free relay.
