• SEARCHING FOR SWEETS: The Longhorns are looking to advance to the NCAA Sweet 16 for the first time since 2008 with a win on Sunday against No. 10/9 Purdue.
• SHARING THE WEALTH: All five Texas starters reached double figures in scoring during Friday's win against Virginia Tech. The Longhorns recorded 17 assists (on 27 field goals made) and committed just nine turnovers on the day. In the second half, UT hit 64-percent from the floor (16-25).
• CARR IN CONTROL: Senior Marcus Carr posted a season-high nine assists against just one turnover while adding 15 points (6-11 FG, 3-5 threes) in 34 minutes during Friday's victory over Virginia Tech.
