No. 2 Volleyball beats No. 7 Ohio State, 3-1

The Longhorns battled back after dropping the first set to improve to 2-0 on the season.
COLUMBUS, Ohio – No. 2 Texas Volleyball rallied after dropping the first set to beat No. 7 Ohio State for the second-straight night, 23-25, 25-18, 25-20, 25-13, on Saturday in front of another sold-out crowd at the Covelli Center.
The Longhorns improved to 2-0 on the season and will face another top-10 opponent, Minnesota, in the home opener at Gregory Gym on Wednesday at 7 p.m.
Logan Eggleston led Texas with 18 kills and added seven digs, three blocks and three service aces. Madisen Skinner finished with 17 kills and hit .312 in the match.
Asjia O'Neal had a great all-around match, finishing with eight kills and a .500 hitting percentage along with seven total blocks.
Saige Ka'aha'aina-Torres dished out 43 assists and added seven digs and two blocks.
Zoe Fleck led the Longhorns with 26 digs and added five assists.
Ohio State took the first set, leading most of the way and holding on for a 25-22 win. The Longhorns committed seven attack errors and hit .118 in the first set.
Texas bounced back in a big way in the second set, cruising to a comfortable 25-18 win to even the match at one set apiece. The Longhorns hit .467 in the second set and Eggleston led the way with seven kills and three aces in the set.
The Longhorns grabbed the lead with a 25-20 third set win, behind five kills by Skinner.
Texas put the match away in emphatic fashion, cruising to a 25-13 fourth-set win. The Longhorns hit a ridiculous .522 in the fourth set.
