Ramos leads Women's Cross Country at Dellinger Invite

Beth Ramos was UT's top performer for the seventh consecutive race.
EUGENE, Ore. - Beth Ramos continued her dominance on the Texas women's cross country program being the top performer for the Longhorns for the seventh consecutive race.
Ramos was the lone Longhorn to finish in the top-10 with her eighth-place performance and her nine-second PR in the women's 6K. Ramos finished with a time of 20:14.5 to score eight points for Texas.
Among those in competition, Texas competed against two top-25 schools in No. 16 Oregon and No. 24 Oregon State.
Sophomore Eva Jess finished 27th and second for Texas with a time of 21:11.5, a 25-second personal-best in the 6K.
Junior Kelsie Vicknair made her season debut as the third finisher in burnt orange and finished with a time of 21:25.0. Vicknair took 50 seconds off her previous best set at last season's NCAA South Central Region Championships.
Freshman Brighton Mooney competed in her first collegiate 6K and continued her impressive start to her collegiate career finishing the race in 21:27.5.
Monica Hebner finished her first race of the season in 21:28.9, a 28-second personal best.
Freshman Elizabeth Pickett finished in the top 50 with a time of 21:45.2, along with Valery Tobias who posted a seven-second PB with a time of 21:48.6.
Virginia Knight (22:11.3), Katarzyna Kwiatkowski (22:24.3), Natasja Beijen (22:35.9), Allyson Little (22:46.2) and Alyssa Duhart (23:05.0) closed out the competitors for Texas.
