Men's Swim and Dive Release 2022-23 Schedule

AUSTIN, Texas – The University of Texas Men's Swimming and Diving team released the 2022-23 schedule that features nine home events.
Five of the six opening meets of the season will be held in the Lee and Joe Jamail Texas Swimming Center, highlighted by the opening Sam Kendricks Memorial Orange and White Classic meet on Sept. 23 and a dual meet against Virginia on Nov. 4-5.
The Longhorns will host TCU on Oct. 7 and travel to Dallas Texas on Oct. 7-8 for the SMU Classic.
They'll close out its homestand starting by hosting Texas A&M and Indiana on Oct. 21, Virginia on Nov. 4-5 and the four-day Texas Diving Invitational from Nov. 16-19. Both Indiana and Virginia finished in the top 10 at the NCAA Championships in 2022, with the Hosiers finishing fifth and the Cavaliers in 10th.
The following three meets will be on the road as the Longhorns travel to the Minnesota Invitational from Nov. 30 – Dec. 3, USA Diving Winter Nationals in Morgantown, W.V. from Dec. 14-18, and end in Tuscaloosa, Ala., to face both Ohio State who finished ninth at NCAAs and Alabama.
The fourth-place finishers from NCAAs, NC State, will travel to the Forty Acres on Jan. 27 – 28. The SMU Mustangs will be next up on Feb. 3 to close the regular season.
Texas will host the Big 12 Championships from Feb. 23 – 26 and look to make it a perfect 27-for-27 on Big 12 titles.
The swim center will also host the American Short Course Championships on March 2 – 4 and then travel to Minneapolis, Minn., for the NCAA Zone "D" Diving meet on March 7 – 9.
The men will stay in Minneapolis and look to get back on top of the NCAA Championships from March 22 – 25.
