No. 2 Women's Swim and Dive falls to No. 1 Virginia

Texas drops first dual meet of the season, 119-48.
CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. – The No. 2 women's swim and dive program fell to No. 1 Virginia, 119-48, on the final day of the dual meet.
Bridget O'Neil completed her sweep of the diving events against Virginia, winning the 3-meter with 357.15 points. Amanda Stalfort was third with 324.75 points and Sarah Carruthers finished fourth with 321.90.
The women of Berit Berglund, Anna Elendt, Emma Sticklen and Grace Cooper finished second in the 400 medley relay with a time of 3:32.60. Elendt later finished third in the 200 breast with a time of 2:12.56.
Freshman Erin Gemmell was the runner-up in the 1000 free at 9:52.12, while Abby Pfeifer was fifth at 10:15.01 and Ella Myers in sixth at 10:16.30. Gemmell added a third-place finish in the 100 free at 48.83 and Cooper was fourth at 49.38.
Freshman Emma Kern was sixth in the 200 back with a time of 1:57.29 and Alicia Wilson was fifth at 1:58.20.
Sticklen added a second-place finish in the 200 fly with a time of 1:58.83 for four points, while freshman Angie Coe was third at 1:59.03 adding three team points.
Campbell Stoll recorded a third-place performance in the 200 IM with a time of 2:00.60 as the lone Longhorn scorer in the event.
Cooper, Gemmell, Coe and Emma Davidson closed out the competition with a second-place finish in the 400 free relay with their time of 3:16.34.
