No. 7 Men's Swim and Dive splits results at Texas A&M

Texas defeats Georgia Tech, falls to Texas A&M.
AUSTIN, Texas – The No. 7 men's swim and dive team split its dual meets on the road to No. 13 Texas A&M and No. 23 Georgia Tech. The Longhorns defeated the Yellow Jackets, 157.5 – 104.5, and fell to the Aggies, 143 – 119.
The Longhorns were led by freshman Will Modglin who swam away with two event wins in 100 free (43.69) and the 100 back (45.77). Chris O'Connor finished fifth in the 100 back with his time of 47.85.

Brayden Taivassalo was the runner-up in the 100 breast with his time of 53.36, while Will Scholtz finished fifth at 54.04. Alex Turney was eighth at 55.06. Taivassalo later added a second-place finish in the 200 breast with a time of 1:54.96 and Nate Germonprez finished sixth with his time of 1:58.04.
Sam Artmann paced the 200 fly with his time of 1:45.15, while Holden Smith finished fifth with a time of 1:47.00 and Ryan Branon 10th at 1:47.93. Artmann added a runner-up performance in the 100 fly with hist time of 46.98.
Coby Carrozza was the next individual winner in the 500 free with a time of 4:18.81 and Hobson added his next finish in fourth with a time of 4:20.97. Alec Enyeart was sixth (4:26.29) and Sasha Lyubavskiy was seventh (4:26.74).

The Longhorns added its final win in the 200 free from Modglin, Germonprez, Camden Taylor and Carrozza who won with a time of 1:18.88.
