Braunton claims platform title at Texas Diving Invitational

Freshman Tanner Braunton wins first collegiate event.
AUSTIN, Texas - Freshman Tanner Braunton made it a clean sweep for the Longhorns in all three diving events of the Texas Diving Invitational after winning the platform title on Friday for the first collegiate win of his career.
Braunton competed in his first collegiate platform event and scored 406.20 points and was the lone competitor to break 400 points. Senior Noah Duperre finished second with 389.33 points, and Pierce Brooke rounded out the Texas competitors finishing third with 326.70 points.
Earlier in the week, Nick Harris swept both the 1-meter and the 3-meter.
