A 6-4 middle blocker from Prosper, Texas signs with the Longhorns.
AUSTIN, Texas – No. 3 Texas Volleyball head coach Jerritt Elliott announced the signing of Ayden Ames to a to National Letters of Intent in the class of 2024. Ames, a middle blocker from Prosper, Texas, will enroll early and join the Texas Volleyball team in January 2024.

Daughter of Laura Ames and David Thau…has two siblings, Jake Thau and Julia Thau...mother, Laura, played volleyball and basketball at Lewis University and currently serves as College Recruiting Director for 1 United Volleyball Club…Ayden was born in Los Angeles, Calif. and later moved to Texas.
