Skilken wins bronze on platform at USA Diving Nationals

Jordan Skilken is the fifth Longhorn to medal at the national meet.
MORGANTOWN, W.Va – Texas diver Jordan Skilken won bronze on platform at the USA Diving National Championships on Tuesday at the Aquatic Center at Mylan Park. She became the fifith Longhorn to secure a medal at the championships this year.
Skilken totaled 602.70 points to secure third place. With the top-two competitors securing spots for Team USA at this summer's World Aquatics Championships, Skilken finished just 11.25 points behind runner-up Nike Agunbiade for the roster spot.
Janie Boyle placed ninth in the platform final with 535.30 points.
On the men's side, Noah Duperre took sixth in the men's 3-meter final with 727.00 points. Nick Harris joined him in the final, scoring 708.70 points to finish eighth.
The Longhorns will have a pair of divers compete in the final day of USA Diving Nationals on Wednesday. Hailey Hernandez and Bridget O'Neil will dive in the women's 3-meter final, set to get underway at 11 a.m. CT.
