Texas begins the 2023-24 campaign with the ANNIKA Intercollegiate presented by 3M at The Royal Golf Club in Lake Elmo, Minn.
AUSTIN, Texas — The No. 7 University of Texas women's golf team, coming off their seventh straight NCAA Championship appearance and runner-up finish in stroke play at the 2023 NCAA Championship, will begin the 2023-24 campaign with the ANNIKA Intercollegiate presented by 3M. The event is hosted by the University of Minnesota at The Royal Golf Club in Lake Elmo, Minn.
Texas golfers for ANNIKA Intercollegiate: Cindy Hsu, Farah O'Keefe, Selina Liao, Bentley Cotton and Lauren Kim.
In addition, the Longhorns will have three golfers compete as individuals in the Branch Law Firm/Dick McGuire Invitational Sept. 11-12 at the University of New Mexico Championship Course in Albuquerque, N.M. Angela Heo, Bohyun Park and Tiffany Cao will compete in that event.
When: Monday September 11- Wednesday September 13.
Format: 18 holes on each day Monday-Wednesday
Where: Royal Golf Club (Lake Elmo, Minn.)
The Royal Golf Club is a par-72 layout and measures 6,901 yards for the tournament.

Tournament Notes:
The Tournament Field: The 12-team at the ANNIKA Invitational includes: No. 6 Mississippi State, No. 7 Texas, No. 11 Oregon, No. 2 Wake Forest, No. 7 South Carolina, No. 3 Texas A&M, No. 10 Florida State, No. 12 Baylor, No. 13 San Jose State, Virginia, Duke and Minnesota.
Texas will be paired with Mississippi State and Oregon in the opening round and will tee off from 8:30 a.m. central time-9:10 a.m. central time.
Head Coach Ryan Murphy: Head Coach Ryan Murphy is in his 10th season at the helm of the program. Murphy has guided Texas the NCAA Championship in each of the last seven years, something only three other programs have done. Murphy is a four time Big 12 Coach of the Year. He led the Horns to three-straight Big 12 titles for the first time in program history from 2017-19 and the 2022 title and was named Big 12 Coach of the Year in each of those seasons. The Longhorns have advanced to the match play portion at the NCAA Champion in three of the last four seasons.
Coming back: Texas returns three of their four All-Big 12 selections from the 2022-23 team in sophomores Cindy Hsu and Angela Heo and senior Bentley Cotton. Hsu finished in 10thplace at the 2023 NCAA Championship to become the 19th Longhorn with a top-10 finish at the NCAA Championship. Heo fired a six-under-par 66 in the second round of the NCAA Championship to establish a program record for low round at the NCAA Championship. Cotton finished T9 in the NCAA Palm Beach Regional. The Longhorns return Bohyun Park, who competed in the Augusta National Women's Amateur in 2023.
Newcomers: Texas brings in a trio of talented freshmen to the roster for the 2023-24 season. Lauren Kim captured the Canadian Women's Amateur Championship and qualified for the U.S. Women's Open Championship at Pebble Beach this summer. Fellow freshman Farah O'Keefe also qualified for the U.S. Women's Open Championship. Selina Liao comes to Austin for her collegiate career. Liao was the winner of the Callaway Junior World Championship in 2021.
