No. 4 Women’s Golf complete round one of Stanford Intercollegiate

O’Keefe, Liao lead Texas with 1-under 70 scores in round one at Stanford.
STANFORD, Calif. — The No. 4 Texas Women's Golf team finished the first round in sixth place on the team leaderboard at the Stanford Intercollegiate on Friday.
The Longhorns carded a team score of 3-over 287 on the par-71 Stanford Golf Course. The host Stanford Cardinal shot 11-under as one of three teams to shoot under par with Southern California (-4) and Virginia (-1). Princeton is in fourth place at 1-over and Arizona State is in fifth place at 2-over.
Selina Liao birdied holes 17 and 18 to card a score of 1-under 70. Farah O'Keefe also shot a 1-under 70 in the opening round of the tournament. Texas finished the round with five total birdies on holes 16-18.
The Longhorns tee off tomorrow in the second round of the event at 10:25 a.m. CT.
The Lineup
Sophomore Farah O'Keefe made three birdies on her back nine holes and carded a score of 1-under 70. O'Keefe is T15 on the individual leaderboard.
Sophomore Selina Liao birdied four holes on the day including 17 and 18 to finish her round at 1-under-par and T15 on the player leaderboard.
Junior Cindy Hsu birdied holes 4 and 16 on her way to a 2-over 73 on the par-71 course.
Sophomore Lauren Kim finished with a birdie on the par-4, 422-yard 18th hole and carded a round of 3-over.
Junior Angela Heo made two birdies in her round and carded an 8-over 79 in the first round.
