• JONES SCORES 1,500TH CAREER POINT: Senior Taylor Jones passed 1,500 career points on Thursday. Jones now has 1,508 points for her career.
• CARLTON NATIONAL FRESHMAN OF THE WEEK: Texas freshman Justice Carlton was named the USBWA National Freshman of the Week as well as the SEC Freshman of the Week on Dec. 3. Carlton averaged 15.3 points and 5.0 rebounds in the three games at the Gulf Coast Showcase. Carlton scored 30 points on 12-of-15 shooting in the win over Butler.
