Beach Volleyball beats HCU at TCU Invitational

The Longhorns took down the Huskies and came up just short against TCU.
FORT WORTH, Texas – Texas Beach Volleyball beat Houston Christian, 3-2, and came up just short against No. 5 TCU at the TCU Invitational on Saturday.
In the first match of the day the Longhorns pulled out an exciting win with the No. 3 pair of Ayden Ames and Hannah Ogden rallying to win in a third set to clinch the match. Ames/Ogden dropped the first set 22-20 but came right back and won the second 21-15 and pulled out the third set 15-13.
The No. 1 pair of Katie Hashman and Emma Grace Robertson and No. 2 Macey Butler and Devin Kahahawai both won as well to complete the win.
Against TCU, the Longhorns got wins at No. 4 from Ava Patton and Presley Wright and at No. 2 with Macey Butler and Devin Kahahawai.
Texas will close out the season with a home match against Texas A&M-Corpus Christi on Saturday, April 13 at 12 p.m. at the Wright-Whitaker Sports Complex.
