In final Big 12 postseason conference tournament, Texas looks to depart league with fifth postseason conference championship
OKLAHOMA CITY, Okla. – Looking for its first regular season and postseason tournament sweep of Big 12 Conference championships since the 2003 season, The University of Texas softball program will open its stay in the 2024 Phillips 66 Big 12 Softball Championship on Thursday, May 9 with a 5 p.m. CT matchup against Texas Tech.
TELEVISION: Pete Sousa (play by play) and Natasha Watley (analyst) will serve as the talent for the ESPN+ broadcasts on Thursday and Friday. Eric Frede (play by play) and Madison Shipman (analyst) will call the tournament's championship game on ESPN2 on Saturday.

- Following last weekend's offensive outburst in Lubbock, Texas, the Texas Longhorn offense will enter the Big 12's postseason conference tournament with 514 hits, three shy of tying (2013, 2014) for the fourth most by a team in the program's single-season history.
